How to join Vanilla Realms

Vanilla Realms is a public Minecraft survival SMP for Java and Bedrock, with crossplay in one world. There is no whitelist and no application: add the address and join.

Java Edition (PC, Mac, Linux)

Java 1.17 or newer can join.

  1. Open Minecraft Java Edition and choose Multiplayer.
  2. Choose Add Server.
  3. Type join.vanillarealms.com in Server Address.
  4. Choose Done, then select Vanilla Realms in the list and Join Server.

Bedrock Edition on phone or Windows

  1. Open Minecraft, choose Play, then the Servers tab.
  2. Choose Add Server.
  3. Server Address: join.vanillarealms.com
  4. Port: 19132
  5. Save, then join. Bedrock players share the same world as Java players.

Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

Xbox, PlayStation and Switch cannot add a server address directly. Console players use the BedrockConnect DNS method: you change your console's network DNS settings so that one of the game's featured servers opens a server list, where you can enter the address join.vanillarealms.com and port 19132.
