How do you earn a free rank?
- Vote.
/voteopens the four vote sites, and you can vote up to 4 times a day. - Each vote gives one vote rank point, one Vote Key and one Vote Token.
- A rank unlocks automatically when your vote total reaches it. There is nothing to redeem.
/voteranksshows the ladder and your total, and/ranksopens all three rank tracks.- Voting is gated by real time, so nobody can rush the ladder. Cartographer is a long goal: the server's design target is about a year of daily voting.
What are the 20 vote ranks?
Every rank also has its own chat tag. Homes, shops and warps are how many you can have at that rank. Claim blocks are a one-time bonus at each rank-up.

What are the Elite ranks?
Five Elite ranks are bought with vanilla blocks in /eliteranks, in order: each one needs the rank before it. No plugin tracks these blocks; the menu takes them from your inventory. A stack is 64.
| Rank | Cost | Perks |
|---|---|---|
| Elite 1 | 10 stacks of emerald blocks, 14 of diamond blocks, 3 of netherite blocks | 1 backpack row, daily rewards |
| Elite 2 | 12 stacks of emerald blocks, 6 of netherite blocks, 4 of creeper heads | 2 backpack rows, weekly rewards, /nightvision |

| Elite 5 | Shown in /eliteranks | Fly in the resource worlds, a 70-emerald trade limit, 35 shop stock pages, silk-touch spawner pickup, personal holograms |
What do the paid ranks give, and what don't they?
Four paid ranks are sold in the store: Bee, Fox, Parrot and Wolf, lowest to highest. Each includes the perks of the one below it.
| Paid rank | Headline perks |
|---|---|
| Bee | 10 shops, 5 warps, /feed, /workbench, /smelt, /repair hand, backpack kept on death |
| Fox | 15 shops, 10 warps, /hat, /near, /disposal, /grindstone |
| Parrot | Keep inventory and keep XP on death, 35 shops, 20 warps, chat colors |
| Wolf | Unlimited shop slots and homes, mine and place spawners with Silk Touch, claims that never expire, /repair all |
- Bee and Fox players still lose their items on death. Parrot is the first rank that keeps your inventory and XP.
- Paid ranks do not give vote ranks: those come only from voting.
- No gear and no currency are sold. The store's other items are crate keys and claim blocks.
Rank questions
How do I rank up on Vanilla Realms for free?
Vote. Every vote counts toward the 20 free vote ranks, and a rank unlocks automatically when your vote total reaches it. Use /vote to open the four vote sites and /voteranks to see the ladder.
What is the highest free rank on Vanilla Realms?
Cartographer, at 1,000 votes. It gives 10 homes, 20 player shops, 10 player warps, 32 emerald blocks, 3,000 bonus claim blocks, and claims that never expire.
How many times a day can I vote?
Up to 4 times a day, across the four vote sites. Each vote gives one vote rank point, one Vote Key and one Vote Token.
Can I buy the vote ranks?
No. Vote ranks come only from votes, so nobody can skip the ladder. The store sells four separate paid ranks (Bee, Fox, Parrot, Wolf), crate keys and claim blocks. No gear and no currency are sold.
Which rank gives keep inventory?
Parrot, a paid rank, and Wolf above it. Bee and Fox players still lose their items on death. Everyone keeps their inventory in the /arena PvP world.
Do the rank tracks stack?
Yes. Vote ranks, Elite ranks and paid ranks are separate tracks that stack, so a player can be Cartographer, Elite Rank 3 and Parrot at the same time.
